Veneer Composing (PS-narrow tapes)

Northwest Adhesives, Inc. offers high performing, cost efficient, “pre-coated” tapes for composing wood veneers, parquet flooring or LVL veneer into durable, continuous full sized sheets. When used with Northwest “spot glues” our PS-tapes provide a continuous, more durable wood assembly and improves lay-up efficiency and reduces cost.  Some customers also invest in “Re-Coat” where they use both Spot glue and PS-tape together for best holding power.

Corrugated Reinforcing (CR-wide tapes and CR-strings)

Northwest Adhesives, Inc. offers strong, thin filament tapes and strings for corrugated board reinforcement.   Box producers use CR-wide tapes or CR-thin strings to add strength only where needed and may realize lower cost by using lighter weight paper components.

Thin profile CR-wide tapes from Northwest Adhesives, Inc. are made on our modern, proprietary tape process and will include compatible, non-patented self splicing features for continuous running without stops. Northwest Adhesives CR-wide tapes also fit existing tape dispensers.

Folding Cartons (FC-narrow tapes and FC-strings)

Northwest Adhesives, Inc. FC-filament tapes and FC-strings act as tear tapes for overnight mailers, detergent cartons or will reinforce folding cartons where tear resistance is needed.

Technology Licensing

Coating technology is available under a license arrangement from Northwest Adhesives, Inc. We will supply a “turn-key” coating process and the formulas to those qualified licensees which may include 3rd party agents, distributors, box manufacturers, adhesive suppliers or others who want to produce their own “pre-coated” PS, CR or FC tapes and strings.
